Project X is our first full grown CROSS and he is everything we envisioned. X is totally friendly, very beautiful, highly trainable and extremely easy going. We train him twice a week in the woods and once a week we take him to Ingrid Gerritsen, our co-trainer, a Grand Prix rider and Young Horse specialist, to teach him the basics of dressage. Project X and Ingrid have participated in young horse competitions (PAVO, SUBLI Cup) in 2024. He competed against the best Young Warmbloods in Holland and performed very well. Their scores were consistenly around 75-78% with compliments on his locomotion and very relaxed behaviour. He always finished half way the result sheet, which for us meant that a crossbreed can compete againt the warmbloods. He will probably never win, but you can beat half of them! Project X has recently been sold to a wonderful place, an ambitious lady in South Africa who will take time to train him through the ranks, with a Grand Prix test as ultimate goal.
Project X is trained as a young eventer and a dressage horse. He is trained in the woods on a daily basis and Grand Prix rider, Ingrid Gerritsen, trains him weekly to lay a foundation for his future career. This summer he will compete in the Subli Cup and the PAVO Cup competing against a lot of warmblood power. Let's see if he can stand his ground. He is our first proof that mixing these genes results in a beautiful, big-moving, friendly horses
